Tangy Fresh Spinach Dip

Lemon peel and a splash of NAKANO Roasted Garlic Seasoned Rice Vinegar give our tasty spinach dip a clean, refreshing flavor compared to its traditional fat-laden cousin. This easy dip has only .5 grams fat per tablespoon!


1 bag (6 oz.) fresh spinach leaves, about 6-7 cups, lightly packed
1 Tbsp. water
1 can (8 oz.) sliced water chestnuts, rinsed and drained
3 Tbsp. NAKANO Seasoned Rice Vinegar—Roasted Garlic
3 Tbsp. sour cream
½ tsp. onion powder
½ tsp. salt
Grated peel of one lemon


Place spinach and water in a microwaveable bowl. Cover and microwave 1 minute or until wilted; cool 15 minutes. Place spinach in a food processor with metal blade. Add remaining ingredients. Run until smooth, scraping sides of bowl a few times. Serve immediately with pita triangles and assorted fresh vegetable dippers.
