BBQ Ribs


4-5 lbs. country style ribs (10-12 ribs), cut into individual rib portions
1 bottle WORLD HARBORS Sweet ‘n Sour or Jamaican Style Jerk Marinade & Sauce


“Parboiling” ribs in the microwave speeds up cooking time and allows the marinade to form a shiny, crisp exterior without charring on the grill.
Place ribs, meaty side down, in a large microwave-safe baking dish. Cover loosely with wax paper and microwave on medium power 10 minutes. Turn ribs over and microwave another 10-12 minutes on medium power or until almost cooked through. Drain liquid and discard.
Set aside 1/2 cup jerk sauce to serve with ribs. Pour remaining sauce over ribs; toss to coat and let stand 10 minutes. Remove ribs from sauce and grill over medium coals 10-12 minutes. Brush with sauce and turn ribs; cook another 10 minutes or until a shiny crust forms. Serve with the reserved sauce.
NOTE: You can cook bone-in chicken breasts this way. Cooking times may vary.
